  1. Marketing the Courses:
    1. Responsible for overall marketing of all professional development and other courses offered through the Corporate Training Department.
    2. Develops a marketing presentation of courses and services offered by the Department.
    3. Liaises with the Manager to obtain updates on courses available, fees and course contents.
    4. Conducted meetings with existing customers and new customers to analyze the training needs and give recommendations.
    5. Consulted various departments and companies for their training needs and contributes to the growth of potential client databases.
    6. Analyze competitive data and recommend strategies to gain an aggressive market ranking.

  1. Identifying training needs:
    1. Identifies, selects and establishes relationships with relevant decision makers in key target organizations.
    2. Delivers bespoke marketing campaigns to existing corporate clients to support the growth of custom and corporate revenues.
  2. Organizing trainings:
  1. Successfully organizes training venues and logistics in coordination with the Manager to achieve effective training and attendance of participants.
  2. Successfully provides and organizes refreshments and lunch whenever required for training.
  3. Coordinate with other departments like the Accounts, and Botho Park for invoices, payment, cleaning services and refreshments arrangements.
  4. Sends monthly reports for training conducted.
  5. Analyse competitive data and recommend strategies to gain an aggressive market ranking.

  1. Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and enhancement
    1. Ensure alignment to and proper implementation of the University’s Quality Management System (QMA) processes, policies, forms, etc. and formally raise non-conformities when any discrepancy is identified.
    2. Review and update KPI data and the risk register for activities related to technology and property management.
    3. Ensure that all CAPA’s (Corrective and Preventive Actions) relevant to the role are addressed appropriately and closed within the stipulated time frame.
  2. General:
    1. Work to achieve the university's vision and mission by developing and implementing appropriate strategies, policies, and procedures.
    2. Build and maintain ethical, positive, and effective working relationships with colleagues across the university at all campuses, partner institutions, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.
    3. Perform any other role or responsibility as may be allocated by the Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Campus Head from time to time.
