Qualifications & Experience
Faculty of Engineering and Technology
- A Ph.D or Master’s in CyberSecurity / Data Science / Software engineering or related field(3 Post)
- A Ph.D or Master’s in Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Electronics and Communication engineering or related field( 3 Post)
All positions require a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience teaching at a tertiary level.
Possession of a teaching qualification such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE), Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE).
Skills and Competencies required for each job:
- Must be a properly evaluated qualification
- Must have proven experience in programme / curriculum development.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English.
- Good Organisational skills.
- Ability to coordinate and mentor projects and internships for students including liaison with local Science Institutions and Business industry.
- Maintain student records and execute various day to day administrative responsibilities involved with teaching.
- Continuously upgrade skills through self- study and work with peers.
- Be a constructive member of Botho University team.
- Research and publishing.
